So about life...wow. Just...wow. Took me some time to digest the fact that my time management problem has been gone for several months now, thanks to there being no time to manage any more.
Translations...yeah, translations. I definitely want to finish up what I started, but I'm really not in a place to promise anything right now -- or in the foreseeable future. It might be time again that I took it one page, one single line at a time.

On a related note, it has just been announced that Vol.11 of Durarara will be released "early in summer". Considering what a cliffhanger fest the closing chapter of Vol.10 has been, I'm dying for summer to come already.

Well, I guess I began to miss doing translations. So here's the segment that ties directly to the formation of the Orihara gang which we all loved in Vol.9. Hopefully as I find my time more manageable I'll be able to do more.

With graduate-level classes and other various new real-life commitments I expect to be on leave from this fandom for a while. I hope to return sometime in late November. For those of you with a reading knowledge of Chinese, my friend is translating Vol.10 at her tumblr here.

New visitors: there is a reason to the Vol.7-8 gap, which I am finding increasingly tiresome to explain. They will be done eventually. So for now please forbear with me and my lack of activity somehow. Other groups/individuals working on Durarara translations are in no way affiliated with me (except my friend above, whom I proofread for), so there is no point either in asking me questions about their progress.

Alright, alright. So when purging old snippet entries someone pointed out that our beloved ultimate villain's name was not Yadogiri, but Yodogiri. I honestly have no idea how the mistake persisted for so long. Thank you, thank you. I'm currently working on fixing that in the PDFs. The correct versions should be up shortly.

LJ's rich text editor has always been kind of a disaster and the Cut Wizard thing seems to threaten to be the last straw. I am sorely tempted to move the online chapters elsewhere instead, but I don't know where. Thoughts? Suggestions?


P.S. This may not be news to some of you, but apparently Narita is going to write a novel for Bleach.

I've been getting questions about plans for future projects, but unfortunately all I know for sure now is that I cannot promise anything at the moment. Six days of work a week is making it hard for me to find time to do any translations at all. With the 10th volume coming out in August, keeping up with Durarara is looking like an impossible task right now. But I will probably put a little bit of the Etsusa series translations I've been doing up on my tumblr for those of you who have been curious for a long time.
